Deputy and EMS save woman from possible overdose
Deputy Tammy Wolf responded to a 911 call stating that someone had overdosed. When she arrived at the scene Deputy Wolf found the woman and noticed that she was turning blue. She began to perform CPR until EMS arrived and they took over. The EMS team was able to revive the woman. Another officer found a homemade pipe and although the woman said she had not been using drugs this may have been result of a possible herion overdose. The Director of Medical Services later said about the incident that if it had been for Deputy Wolf's actions the woman may not have survived.
One year old toddler saved by local man
Ty Solomon was in the prime of his life. He was athletic, fit, and skilled enough at basketball to earn a spot on the South Carolina State Bulldogs. At 16 minutes and 2 seconds into a game against N.C. State, he was out of the game. He suffered a sudden cardiac arrest moments later. S.C. State's athletic trainer performed CPR and Solomon was rescued.
