About Virginia

The State of Virginia is a very historic state. As the home of eight past U.S. presidents, it is now known as the "Mother of Presidents". The northern area of Virginia is home to some very important government agencies. These agencies include the Pentagon and the CIA, which are very heavily secured and not open to tourists.

The main tourist attractions are the vast forests, which cover 65% of the state. Nature explores come here to see white tailed deer, black bear, and coyote roaming in their natural territories. Shenandoah National Park is the best place to watch wildlife in Virginia, since close to 40% of the park is designated to wildlife and is protected against hunting and poaching.
