Whether you're looking to recertify your ACLS skills or you need to get certified for the first time, our course will make earning your card as fast and convenient as possible.

Getting Started

There are four order options to choose from when you purchase our course:

• Email Card $15: Select this option to receive an email card in addition to a hard copy card. You can then print the email card and use it while waiting for your hard copy card to arrive in the mail.
• Next Day Card Shipping $30: Select this option to have your hard copy card sent by UPS Next Day Shipping. You will receive your hard copy card within 1 business day of passing the exam.
• AHA ACLS Provider Manual $45: Select this option to receive the official American Heart Association ACLS Provider Manual. The exam is based on this manual, so it is the perfect study guide both for learning ACLS the first time and for brushing up on it. Includes free ground shipping (typically arrives within 3 to 5 business days).
• Next Day Provider Manual Shipping $30: Select this option to have your AHA ACLS Provider Manual sent by UPS Next Day Shipping. You will receive your Provider Manual within 1 business day of ordering.

Our site uses a simple, 2-page order process that is fast and easy to use. The first page allows you to select any of the four order options you'd like and input your shipping and payment information. The second page allows you to review all of your order information, verify it's correct and submit your order.

For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Preparing for the Exam

The exam is based on the current American Heart Association ACLS Provider Manual, so the best study tool to prepare for the exam is the AHA ACLS Provider Manual. You can also use any other study material that is based on current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support guidelines.

For your convenience, you can purchase the AHA ACLS Provider Manual directly from us if you need help studying or preparing for the exam. The provider manual costs $45, and Next Day Shipping is available for $30.

If you don't want to purchase the provider manual but you need study materials, many local libraries have ACLS study books, including official AHA books as well as study books from other authors or companies. You can also check with your place of employment to see if they have study materials.

Taking the Exam

There are 45 multiple-choice questions in the exam: 35 questions covering the core ACLS cases and 10 questions covering common ACLS rhythms. You need to score at least 80% (i.e. miss no more than 9 questions) to successfully pass the exam.

All exams are graded automatically. You will receive an email within a few minutes of submitting your answers with your exam results.

If you don't pass the exam on your first try, you will get 3 free retakes.

Getting Your Card(s)

Once you pass the exam, we will send you your ACLS card (s).

• Hard copy cards are mailed Monday through Friday. Our program includes free USPS shipping for your hard copy card, so customers normally receive their cards within 3 to 5 business days.
• If you purchased the Next Day Card Shipping option, then you will receive your card within 1 business day of passing the exam.
• Email cards are sent within 1 business day after passing the exam.
