Making small changes in your daily routine can make a big impact on your overall health. There are many small things you can do throughout the day to increase your activity level. Also, be creative and come up with your own ways of being physically active.

  • Wash your car by hand instead of taking it to the car wash.
  • Do some push-ups, crunches or squats during commercials of your favorite TV shows.
  • Ride a bicycle to work.
  • Take a walk during your break at work instead of surfing the Internet.
  • Park your car far away from the entrance to increase your walk.
