  • Get off the bus or metro one stop early and walk the rest of the way to your destination.
  • Take small walk breaks during your workday.
  • Stand and move around your office when you need to think, plan or strategize.
  • Park your car far away from the front door to increase your walking distance.

Healthy Diet

We want to encourage our New Mexico BLS, PALS and ACLS certification customers to pass on the following healthy eating tips.

  • Serve your portions on a smaller plate to reduce the amount of food you eat.
  • Eat slower to give your brain the time to register that you are full.
  • Don’t eat as much grain. If you do eat grain, make sure it is whole grain.
  • Eat lots of different types of fruits and vegetables. They all have different vitamins and nutrients.
  • Stay away from pre-packaged and processed food.
